Our Volunteer helper in the home
We are so happy to have Emili to assist us in the home, there are always things that need to be done, and she is just the right person to do that for us. Thank you Emili for being here, we hope you enjoy your time with us.

Lego blocks
The children really loves their Lego Blocks, and it keeps them busy in rainy days. It is a pleasure to show you their “guns & rockets” that they made.

Having friends for a weekend
It is nice to have friends here. Thank you to Nelly visiting with us, they are having their lunch outside on the stoep.

Donations
We just wanted to say thank you to all our supporters who gave us donations. We are so blessed!! Thank you to each person that gave some towards the home.
And all the goods we do not use or need goes to other organizations.

Birthday birthday-girl
Sweet 16 Antonia!! You are now growing up! Happy Birthday
We had so many happy birthdays in October! Happy birthday to each of you, even if we do not have a photo of everyone!! We still celebrated the birthdays!

Snakes found on the property
We find a snake every now and then. A life skills lesson outside.

Student of the week
It is sometimes unbelievable how many of our children in this home are student of the week!! Thank you to our children for bringing good reports home! We are proud of all of you!!

We love LEGO
LEGO is a blessing! Especially on windy and rainy days. The boys are really enjoying themselves in building their aeroplanes.

Bridget’s Birthday

Two sisters meet after a long period of time. Thank you Gina for coming to visit and bringing Inidia to visit Bridget on her birthday. Bridget really enjoyed having Inidia around her this weekend.

Tyler’s Birthday

Elrico is home
Elrico has done so well to be on the team for the Junior Competition! We are so proud of him! Congratulations Elrico!
You are inspiring to all of us with your commitment to your sport! Well done!
Thank you Johan for taking him with you on the trip.
We thank God that he is back home safely.

Our Surf-hero
It is our pleasure to introduce to you Elrico, the hero in our home! He was chosen to go to the Junior Championship for S A Surfing in the Academy Team. He is going to Jeffreys Bay on 3 October to 8 October.

SURF4LIFE’s ANNUAL SURF COMPETITION
All the surfing children in the home had a competition on 2 and 3 September 2017. The whole family were there supporting them. But some people were cold and sleeping under the towels, others enjoyed the sand building sand castles.

Sports day
On Friday 1 September 2017 the school had their sports day. Wow!! They enjoyed the time so much.Thank you to all the teachers and volunteers assisting them.

Saying Goodbye.
A special thank you to Hannah and Moska for their help and support to get our Facebook, Blog and Website up and running again.
Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to them for they had to go home in Germany again.

Bradley’s Birthday
Our oldest had his 18th Birthday last Saturday. Happy Birthday, we wish you all the best! Hope you ready for adulthood.

Climbing in the Mountains
On the 26th of February 2017 the children went for an outing with the Mountain Climbing- Club. The Volunteers were also invited to share the experience with the children.
A enjoyable weekend for all of them!


Visiting Lions Head
The children were really happy that the volunteers invited them to climb the Lions Head together. As you can see they had a lot of fun and they all made it up the mountain.

Our Surfing Team
We are so proud of them! The big brother caring for the little ones.
Our surfing Team is also competing in surfing competitions, which is always a fun event how you can see below.

Adventskalender
Volunteers made a gift rope (Adventskalender) for the children for Christmas

Sunset Bay
On the 15th December 2016 the family went out to Somerset Bay with Frances and Leushius. The children were very excited to eat and play. Thank you for the nice day.


Catching a crayfish
One of our older children went out with Frikkie and his son Dylan with the boat and was able to catch a crayfish. (That was allowed and legal)
